Kirk Cameron ~ Our Hero

If anyone out there is kicking Kirk for for his Gay comments, all I can say is they have not read their Bible. Anyone with any Christian knowledge knows that the Bible talks about Homosexual relationships. Putting it into Gods word it is a SIN.

The Bible says in Leviticus 18:22
Thou shalt not lie with Mankind, as with Womankind: It is abomination.

Leviticus 20:13, If a Man also lie with Mankind, as he lieth with a Woman, Both of them have committed an abomination: They shall surely be put to death: Their blood shall be upon them.

Kirk Cameron has been out spoken about Christian vales for years. So naturally when he is confronted with a question about homosexual relations you know he is going to speak his mind. The problem is not with Kirk but with the way people handle the truth about Gay relationships.

One comment I find to be unfounded is the majority of people approve of homosexual relationships. If you were to ask 10 parents if their child told them they were Gay, 9 would not approve. Most people who are Gay do not admit that they have homosexual relations for fear of alienation. They are afraid of what people will think of them. If they have fear about it then it must be wrong.

Why not have a online poll and see just how many people actually approve of Gay relationships. You will be surprised to learn that the majority of us are against it. Our family is all for Kirk Cameron and his Christian values. God is the only one who can return this country to it’s original principals of One Nation Under God and the way our founding fathers meant for it to be.

Until a short time ago Homosexual acts were illegal in some states.
Look back over the last 50 years and see how society has crumbled because of anti God policies. They have taken Prayer out of Schools and replaced it with guns and knives. They have taken God out of the Public and replaced him with corruption and over spending in Government. They spend their time making laws to protect us. All they are doing is wasting tax payers money on frivolous laws that benefit no one. You can’t say a dig against anyone because it is discrimination. If it walks like a Duck and talks like a Duck then it must be a Duck.

We are not saying that we hate homosexuals, we just do not approve of the life they live and the poison values they spread. Our Christian values do not allow hate only education of the Bible facts. We are GLAD we are not drawn in to the approval of that life style and the crippling effect it has on society values.

Do you agree or disagree with Kirk Cameron.

MLM Energy Companies

It is kind of funny what some mlm companies will do for a buck.I was looking for something on the internet when I ran into a energy company with a MLM business model. Being of curious mind and always on the lookout for good opportunities for my readers I deceided to investigate.

The company is Ambit Energy and if you sign up with them they lead you to believe you can make a lot of money and cut your energy bills. One thing that puzzles me is where do they get the energy to sell to you. In my state there are only a few places to get utilities from. If they are buying from them and selling to you where is the discount for you. All the MLM companies I know of always have higher priced goods.

The price to join is $429 plus $24.95 a month for your”website”. All you have to do is sign up 5 people in 28 days and you get a $100 bonus. You count for 2 so all you need is 3 more. Ok lets look at it this way, the average rep can sponsor 3 people. So now you have 5 people and a $100 bonus. Now all you have to do is sponsor 15 more and you will get another $300 in bonuses. So in 28 days you have sponsored 20 people and made $400.

So after sponsoring 20 people in 28 days you have made $400 and are still out $29 plus the $24.95 for your website. In my book if I sponsor 20 people I better earn more than $20 per customer. In my opinion this sounds like it is way to difficult to achieve any income for the average person. My advice is to move on to something better.

Service Contracts ~ Scam Central

I received a letter in the mail yesterday about an extended warranty or service contract for the used vehicle I just bought. The Company name is Service Protection Direct. After some research this is what was uncovered from and an X employee and consumers.

I worked for Service Protection Direct, and yes it is a scam, the directive that we were given was to sell at any cost, no matter what the cost. They have a way of getting around any repair over $2,500. Robert Bentrup dose not exist, he is a fictional person, which is made up of two of the owners names. So they have lied to you before you even call to find out what they can do for you. They have your VIN number for your vehicle already, which is illegal. Being a previous employee the best way the I can describe the company, is a modern day digital sweat shop. Not only are they screwing the consumer, but they are also screwing the employees. I quit because I could not stand the fact that I was screwing people completely out of their money any longer, several of my clients that I had sold policies to had been denied their right to a claim. I had refused to sell a policy to a potential client, because the client had told me at the end of the conversation that she and her husband would have to go without their medication for a few months to be able to afford the policy, at that point I had told the client that I could not in good faith sell her the policy at this time!. My headset was ripped from my head by one of the owners, I was cursed up one side of the office and down the other|. Even though the policy was not sold to the client, because of my refusal I was made to pay for the policy out of my own pocket $3,800|. They currently own me allot of money;. When I had quit I tried to grab my documents proving how much money they owed me, they made me leave immediately, when I asked if I was going to be paid for my sales, which my commissions still currently owed are $8,298?.39, I was told to prove it, well unfortunately I cant, I am out two months of wages that I will never see.. So in ending Service Protection Direct, is a scam they will not pay out your claim if it is above a set amount, their powertrain warranty which is called a Duralube is a complete scam and does not cover anything, they have a $1,500 bridge from the price that they tell you, and they try and make you buy on the first phone call, and they will bully you until you buy from them on the first phone call, and if you ever want to cancel your policy, you will get the run around, more bullying, and a series of hang ups before you even get close to canceling your policy,. I write this to you the consumer because you need to know, its your money and your car, and you will be paying for for a long time:. So choose wisely.

I paid over $2000 for this warrenty and have tried to use it numerous times but nothing that has gone wrong with my car has been covered. I have purchased other warrenties from dealers and have been totally pleased with what they covered. I just spent another $1500 today because nothing was covered. I will never buy a warrenty from tele-marketers (SPD) again. I don’t see how every repair that I have needed, not one item was a covered item. I had the dealer look over it today and he said it is a big rip-off and to contact the BBB. I am going to do so.

I purchased the policy in January 2009 and was told also it was bumper to bumper told just last week when the u joints went out in my 2004 Avalanche they were not covered and it cost me $429.00 to have repaired at chevrolet dealer. Then this week my A/C had problems with heater cutting on when a/c is blowing have to restart car to get a/c come back on. Took to shop called them and this part is not covered and if i fix will be $1100.00 and guess what policy paid for last month. So why cancel now it is good till 2012. Tell everyone not to buy from them.

My advice is if you are solicited for any after market warranty either on the phone or in the mail use caution. This gives honest small business owners a bad name

Thats Not My Job

Click Here For A Huge Selection of Software for your Web Site

Looking back at when I worked as a mechanic a funny thing struck me today. I was working on a vehicle and was stumped so I asked another mechanic what he thought. The words that came out of his mouth were sorry that’s not my Job. If I were working on a website to make some extra money and asked for help would you say sorry that’s not my job.

Some people would give advice and other would say that”s not my job. What if you were flying in a plane and the pilot got sick and could not fly. You turned to a passenger that was a pilot and asked if they could fly the plane and there answer was that’s not my job what would you do. I’m guessing you would say I would die along with everyone else on the plane and possibly people on the ground.

That’s the trouble with people in today’s world. They would rather let you die than help you. They are so busy with their own job that they take no time to smell the roses. If you were walking down the street and a bum came up to you and asked you for a handout would you look down on them or give them a helping hand.

I read an article about a waitress on the internet yesterday. A wealthy Banker paid for his lunch and only gave a 1% tip. On the receipt he circled Tip and wrote Get a real job. Now lets take into consideration if everyone got a real job there would not be anyone to wait on him and his arrogant butt. Just because you have more money than someone else don’t make you any better.

Everyone puts their pants on one leg at a time, unless you are my Ex wife who has to jump off the second story to get into her pants because they are so tight. I know sometimes we all feel like we are better off than our neighbors but we are all Gods creatures and created equal. If this world got together and cut all the greed and tried to help one another we would all be better off.

Blog Blogging Blogger

Any way you say it blogging is all about telling it like it is in a way everyone can understand. I was reading some of the comments left on my site and I must say some are quite pleasant. Then on the other hand others are a lot of SPAM. When I see comments with a bunch of links or question marks in them they get deleted. If you want to leave a comment with a link to your site, then make it tolerable.

When I write again in a day or two I hope I can keep you interested and maybe give you a few tips to make your online experience more pleasant and profitable.

Back With A Vengeance

After being online for years and not making a dime we deceided to start a offline business. With some savings that was lying around collecting dust an Ice Cream Parlor was finally in the budget. My wife always dreamed of having a small ice cream/cafe shop. So we set out to find a location and collect equipment. At first a franchise was on our mind but there are to many restrictions and the cost was to much.

Let me tell you if you think working online is a lot of work you should try a ice cream shop. Most of the suppliers I called either never called me back or acted like I was bothering them. No wonder the country is in such bad shape. The sales people don’t want to sell anything to keep the people working. I must of called a dozen ice cream manufactures before I found a great mom and pop outfit.

We acquired a bunch of equipment and put it in storage. After a month of searching for a place we found a great location on a busy state hwy.
The building was empty for a few years and came with some restaurant equipment. The lease on the building was reasonable and even had an apartment in back for our son and his girlfriend.

Getting food and soft drink vendors was a little easier than finding ice cream for a parlor. I called 3 major soft drink companies and only 2 called me back promptly. after we got set up with product the third one called but it was to late. If they took that long to get back on a sale imagine how long it would take for service.

Now that we are up and running it is time to advertise. I ran ads in the paper and bought a nice sign for outside. We ordered business cards and printed out some flyers. Business was okay for the winter time but I wanted more. Then it hit me,all those years I spent trying to make money online just may help me with my offline business.

I got a domain name and built a website (I still kept my web hosting account). I added a email capture form with a free offer if they gave me their email name. Then I submitted it to google places, waited for the verification code in the mail. When the code came I submitted it and started getting email names in a few days. I also ran some ads in the local online classifieds.
Business is picking up every day so pretty soon it will be back to the internet to implement what I learned and make even more money.

The moral of the story is to do your own thing and quit promoting other peoples products. The only one getting rich is them.

Build your own product or service get it up and running and promote you not someone else.

Entitlement

Being a small business owner I run into a lot of people from all walks of life. The ones that tick me off the most is the ones who cry discrimination because they don’t get their way. We recently started a small ice cream-cafe shop in our home town. The building we rented also had an apartment in the back that was occupied. This did concern me at the time but the land lord said we had the option to rent it also.

I am not one for removing people from their homes so I thought it would be ok for the current renters to stay. We went down and had all the utilities switched into our name. The following week the renter asked if i could hook her dryer back up. A few weeks before she had said they lived there for 6 years and never had a dryer. Now all of a sudden they bought a dryer because we pay the electric.

When it came time to pay the electric bill they came up with a million excuses why they didn’t have the money. I simply said the electric would be cut off and their reply was we have a disable child so you can’t shut the power off. I can’t tell you how many times people hide behind something just to get away with a freebie in life.

Many landlords out there loose thousands of dollars every year because of dead beats who hide behind a loophole in the law in the name of discrimination. We as business people need to put a stop to this crap of leaches living off of our taxes and having more rights than we do.

Old Glory

There is a tear in my eye and my heart is saddened. A couple of days ago I took a ride around the country side to look for signs of patriotism.
To my dismay I saw very few signs of any kind of love for our country. From the hundred or so homes I drove by only 2 had an American flag flying proud. Is the American dream a dying thought today or are people just afraid to show their support for our country.

Over 2 hundred years ago our founding fathers fought and shed blood for the right to have liberty and justice for all who live in this great country. Their idea of a new land where everyone was free to pursue their dream. Over the last 30 years that dream is becoming farther out of reach for the common man. The average American is the one who built this country into a great nation.

Our political leaders are trying to tear apart our way of life with their laws intended to protect us. Their biggest mistake was to take God out of the public. If you took the military out of service what do you think would happen to our country. It would be taken over by the evils of the world. So why would we not want God there to protect us from the evil of the world.

There are to many nay sayers who disagree with that idea. They are just the Devil in disguise trying to take over the world. “We The People” are the ones who can make a difference in this great country. We need to get the right people in office who will make the difference.
It is up to you to go out and vote the right candidate for the job. Don’t leave it up to someone else, remember you can make a difference.

Another Blow to The Consumer

BEIJING — In the name of fighting pollution, China has sent the price of compact fluorescent light bulbs soaring in the United States.

By closing or nationalizing dozens of the producers of rare earth metals — which are used in energy-efficient bulbs and many other green-energy products — China is temporarily shutting down most of the industry and crimping the global supply of the vital resources.

China produces nearly 95 percent of the world’s rare earth materials, and it is taking the steps to improve pollution controls in a notoriously toxic mining and processing industry. But the moves also have potential international trade implications and have started yet another round of price increases for rare earths, which are vital for green-energy products including giant wind turbines, hybrid gasoline-electric cars and compact fluorescent bulbs.

General Electric, facing complaints in the United States about rising prices for its compact fluorescent bulbs, recently noted in a statement that if the rate of inflation over the last 12 months on the rare earth element europium oxide had been applied to a $2 cup of coffee, that coffee would now cost $24.55.

An 11-watt G.E. compact fluorescent bulb — the lighting equivalent of a 40-watt incandescent bulb — was priced on Thursday at $15.88 on Wal-Mart’s Web site for pickup in a Nashville, Ark., store.

Wal-Mart, which has made a big push for compact fluorescent bulbs, acknowledged that it needed to raise prices on some brands lately. “Obviously we don’t want to pass along price increases to our customers, but occasionally market conditions require it,” Tara Raddohl, a spokeswoman, said. The Chinese actions on rare earths were a prime topic of conversation at a conference here on Thursday that was organized by Metal-Pages, an industry data firm based in London.

Soaring prices are rippling through a long list of industries.

“The high cost of rare earths is having a significant chilling effect on wind turbine and electric motor production in spite of offsetting government subsidies for green tech products,” said one of the conference attendees, Michael N. Silver, chairman and chief executive of American Elements, a chemical company based in Los Angeles. It supplies rare earths and other high-tech materials to a wide range of American and foreign businesses.

But with light bulbs, especially, the timing of the latest price increases is politically awkward for the lighting industry and for environmentalists who backed a shift to energy-efficient lighting.

In January, legislation that President George W. Bush signed into law in 2007 will begin phasing out traditional incandescent bulbs in favor of spiral compact fluorescent bulbs, light-emitting diodes and other technologies. The European Union has also mandated a switch from incandescent bulbs to energy-efficient lighting.

Representative Michele Bachmann of Minnesota is running for the Republican presidential nomination on a platform that includes strong opposition to the new lighting rules in the United States and has been a leader of efforts by House Republicans to repeal it.

China says it has largely shut down its rare earth industry for three months to address pollution problems. By invoking environmental concerns, China could potentially try to circumvent international trade rules that are supposed to prohibit export restrictions of vital materials.

In July, the European Union said in a statement on rare earth policy that the organization supported efforts to protect the environment, but that discrimination against foreign buyers of rare earths was not allowed under World Trade Organization rules.

China has been imposing tariffs and quotas on its rare earth exports for the last several years, curtailing global supplies and forcing prices to rise eightfold to fortyfold during that period for the various 17 rare earth elements.

Even before this latest move by China, the United States and the European Union were preparing to file a case at the W.T.O. this winter that would challenge Chinese export taxes and export quotas on rare earths.

Chinese officials here at the conference said the government was worried about polluted water, polluted air and radioactive residues from the rare earth industry, particularly among many small and private companies, some of which operate without the proper licenses. While rare earths themselves are not radioactive, they are always found in ore containing radioactive thorium and require careful handling and processing to avoid contaminating the environment.

Most of the country’s rare earth factories have been closed since early August, including those under government control, to allow for installation of pollution control equipment that must be in place by Oct. 1, executives and regulators said.

The government is determined to clean up the industry, said Xu Xu, chairman of the China Chamber of Commerce of Metals, Minerals and Chemicals Importers and Exporters, a government-controlled group that oversees the rare earth industry. “The entrepreneurs don’t care about environmental problems, don’t care about labor problems and don’t care about their social responsibility,” he said. “And now we have to educate them.”

Beijing authorities are creating a single government-controlled monopoly, Bao Gang Rare Earth, to mine and process ore in northern China, the region that accounts for two-thirds of China’s output. The government is ordering 31 mostly private rare earth processing companies to close this year in that region and is forcing four other companies into mergers with Bao Gang, said Li Zhong, the vice general manager of Bao Gang Rare Earth.

The government also plans to consolidate 80 percent of the production from southern China, which produces the rest of China’s rare earths, into three companies within the next year or two, Mr. Li said. All three of these companies are former ministries of the Chinese government that were spun out as corporations, and the central government still owns most of the shares.

The taxes and quotas China had in place to restrict rare earth exports caused many companies to move their factories to China from the United States and Europe so that they could secure a reliable and inexpensive source of raw materials.

China promised when it joined the W.T.O. in 2001 that it would not restrict exports except for a handful of obscure materials. Rare earths were not among the exceptions.

But even if the W.T.O. orders China to dismantle its export tariffs and quotas, the industry consolidation now under way could enable China to retain tight control over exports and continue to put pressure on foreign companies to relocate to China.

The four state-owned companies might limit sales to foreign buyers, a tactic that would be hard to address through the W.T.O., Western trade officials said.

Hedge funds and other speculators have been buying and hoarding rare earths this year, with prices rising particularly quickly through early August, and dipping since then as some have sold their inventories to take profits, said Constantine Karayannopoulos, the chief executive of Neo Material Technologies, a Canadian company that is one of the largest processors in China of raw rare earths.

“The real hot money got into the industry building neodymium and europium inventories in Shanghai warehouses,” he said.

Stephanie Clifford contributed reporting from New York.
